Dwarwen 1-20 (Lineage 2 map)

Ok, first strap on your Guild members club, as it will be the killing tool of choice for the moment and the most effective you have unless you have some friends. Now, speak to Miner Maron (located on the NE side of the starting area) to receive the beginner’s map quest.

Next step is to kill the little wolf guys near by until level four while collecting the fangs Maron asked you to get. You should see after one or two kills ‘Earned a Nepitir Fang’ in the system notice area, which means you have gained a quest item. Once you reach level four head back to Maron and he will give you a map and a miner s license. Up in the right hand corner is a compass, go to the yellow dot on it and talk to Foremen Laferon.

Now that you have done that boring step lets get back to creating blood spray! To reach level five follow the path out of the starting area and take a right the first chance you get. There you will kill Elder Keltirs, don t worry about dying at this point, before level five you don t lose any XP so just whack the crap out of the elders until you drop dead or hit five. If you die just go south from where you spawn and out the gates of the town, that will take you back to where you just were, kill elders until you reach five.

Once you have reached five head into town to the north and follow the road through town, you will see a large water tower structure on your left, right after that on your left will be the weapon/armor shop. Enter the shop and talk to one of the two people in there, buy an Eight-hundred and Eight Adena club or sword as they will kill the quickest. If you don t have the money for a weapon don t sweet it, grab some armor, the lowest boot, pants, shirt, gloves and helmet.

As you leave the shop to your left is the blacksmith s shop. Head in and say hi to him, as he will be your friend for a long time. He will teach you skills and later on help you craft weapons. For now tell him you would like to learn some skills from him. Now this is where you have a real choice to make, moneymaker at ten or damage and armor. See, at ten you will get the option to get two skills called Spoil and sweep. These skills are imperative to find lots of craft items and the occasional pieces of armor. The problem is you must have both skills, or someone using one while you use the other, and the real predicament is that both skills cost 1100 Skill points (SP) each. So if you want those then save your SP and get them around level ten or eleven. Even if you don t get them now you can always get them later and you will get SP faster after level ten. I would recommend skipping the skills and getting weapon mastery then armor mastery but I had to let you know about those two nice skills.

After you have decided on what you are going to do skill wise step out of the blacksmith shop and directly across and to the left a bit is a Marife Redbonnet standing next to a building surrounded by a fence. Talk to her and tell her you will kill the dark wolves, now head north out the gate and follow the road around the hillside. Follow the path to where it starts to go up an incline, go to the top of the incline and run off the edge to the valley below, there you will stick to the left side of the wall. You should find a bunch of dark wolves standing along the hillside.

Now these are going to hit a little harder then the things you were killing before and you may have to sit after every 4th one or so, depending on weapons and armor. A way to make sure you don t die and go back to town is always have your options window open and if you start to die hit restart game and you will be exited right away. This will save you the time of running clear from town to the wolves. Kill the dark wolves until you collect 40 pelts and level 6, then head southwest to the road and follow it up the hill to the town. Marife Redbonnet is on your left behind the fence right after you enter town, talk to her and gets your reward. Now here is where things are going to change a bit, if you are lucky you get a pearl as a reward, which sells for 5k, if not you will either get a mirror worth 500 adena, a necklace worth 360a, or a hair pin worth 100a. If you were lucky enough to receive a pearl purchase a better helmet, boots and gloves, and maybe a short bow and some arrows for some nice XP later but don t spend too much, you know what they say, don t spend all your money in one place.

Next, if you received the pearl, head out of the weapons shop and got right up the road, keep going until you see a round building to your left, it will be sitting on top of a hill. Behind that building, to the left is where you can find the Magic shop. Enter the shop and buy some much-needed lesser healing potions. If you got any of the other rewards skip on armor for now and head out to the magic shop and purchase some healing potions as well.

After buying potions leave the shop and go into the building to your right. Inside you will see what looks like the seven dwarfs from snow white, kind of, but they have different personalities by far. Talk to Elder Spiron, he s stingy dwarf, he will give you a quest to collect goblin brigade necklaces, accept it but don t expect much of a reward, just a little adena, but worth it none the less. Now find Elder Filaur, he isn t as stingy as Sipon but requires a little more work out of you. He ll want you to collect ore and map fragments from some orcs in the old coal mine. The real pay off is in the maps with this one.

Now, leave the elders and head down the hill and look for the weapons shop on your left, stop in front of there. Here s the real choice, how much time do you want to spend thwacking the crap out of wolfs for pelts and money? If you really want money for better weapons and items then do the Redbonnet quest over and over until your eyes melt out of your skull. If you are ready to proceed to leveling the head across from the weapons shop and out the gate.

Follow the road across the bridge and don t take any turns, just stay on the road. At the end of the road you will find an abandoned coalmine, the first Dwarf dungeon. Just inside the entrance you should see what would remind you of that old beefy football player from high school who used to dump kids in the trash, those are utuku orcs. The orcs are social, meaning that if they are within a certain radius of each of when one is attacked they will come to the others aid. Lucky for you, like the foot ball players they are slow and can be out run if you start to die or get one too many. If you get two and you know you are going to die run with enough health to take a blow or two as you flee. Pass the orcs in the entrance up and head through the tunnel to the first large room.

Here you should see goblin brigades, orcs, and black timber wolfs. Goblins are social just like orcs so be careful not to attack them when they are close to each other. If you bought a bow you can use this to shoot a target to pull it to you, doing a good amount of damage to it at the same time. You can also learn the art of run and shoot where you run from the target and shoot it before it attacks you. The orcs are slow enough you can do the run and shoot on them very effectively without any down time for you to heal. As you kill the orcs and goblins you will find ore and goblin necklaces, you should see the message ‘Earned a goblin necklace’ this means you have gained a quest item.

Continue to kill the orcs and goblins until you level or it becomes hard to get kills because of people. On the NE side of that room is another tunnel, follow that deeper into the mine and into a larger room. You will now see werewolf s as well as orcs but the goblin population in this room is none existent thanks to the werewolf s undying hunger. The werewolf s are social just like the orcs and goblins so be weary of other monsters. The orcs have a powerful friend amongst them in here, the orc archer, watch out for those bad boys because they hit hard and will no doubt send you to your death with six or seven arrows sticking out your butt. They are hard to out run because of their range and will assist their fellow comrades so be watchful of them. Pick off the orcs until you reach level ten, now this may take a while but it is faster because as you go the down time between these and the other monster you could be fighting is a lot less.

If you get sick of orcs you can head to the east wall and up the long tunnel to a room with blade bats, magical weavers, goblin lords and gemstone beasts. I only recommend killing the weavers as the bats hit hard from time to time and the goblin lord will be a beautiful reddish color to you or possibly yellow. Everything in this room is social aside from the gemstone beasts so watch out for additional monsters, or adds as they are called. If you happen to have a bow you can take anything in this room aside from the gemstone beast, though the goblin lord will give you a run for your XP. The bats are incredibly slow and can be taken down with the run and shoot move very easily not to mention they give good XP. It is best not to team if you have a bow since you will be leveling faster without a team because XP in team is split and you kill fast with no down time with a bow. If you don t happen to have a bow then find one or maybe two people to team with and kill weavers with unless you prefer to solo.

Now if you want there is a tunnel to the west that will lead you down a long bridge. Follow the bridge and don t take any turns but watch out on the end to the right there are goblin brigade sub leaders, we will learn a little bit more about them later, but they will attack you if they see you so try to stay away from them. If you get one on you and have a bow you can kill it by running and shooting or you can just choose to out run it. Run straight off the bridge and up the tunnel, if you have any brigade sub leaders on you just keep moving. Use your right click and hold to adjust the camera so you can see the top of the tunnel as you go up so you can click up there and keep moving without stopping. You should be able to ditch the sub leader on your way up the tunnel, if not when you reach the top you will enter a large room with weavers, gem stone beasts and bats everywhere. There should be people here killing run around shouting for help if you need it and someone should come to your aid. This room, the before where the goblin lord was, and the room with the orcs and werewolf s are going to be your fastest way to ten, our target level at the moment.

Now that you have reached ten go back into town and sell anything you have collected as far as recipes go aside from coke. Any recipes you have found will take a load of things to make and you can always buy one later of a player if you want to make it, they will always be out there. If you found a cedar staff head or a cedar staff it s self you have scored, you may have even found a mace off a gemstone beast. What to do now if hold onto the cedar staff and use it as a weapon, it is awesome and you will get far with it. As far as the cedar staff heads go it is your choice to sell them to the shop or hold onto them until you have the recipe and all the stuff needed to make one. I myself sold mine and purchased the wooden armor in the shop.

After you have sold your bounty head out of the weapons shop and head left towards the north gate out of town, the last building on the left will have a man inside name collector group, talk to him and get the quest he has to offer. Return to the weapon shop and talk to trader Reep, and then he will tell you to talk to Carrier Toroceo, go out and up the hill to the right. As you reach the top of the hill on your right will be the warehouse, go to the left side of the warehouse and find your way behind. Talk to Carrier Toroceo and head back out to the main road.

Go south up the road and out of town, follow the road back through a chasm and talk to Miner Maron, he is the guy you got your map quest from in the beginning. He will be to the right side of the area standing in front of a large tower like structure. Head back to town after you have talked to him and run north past the weapon shop, between the weapon shop and collector group s place is the Blacksmith’s shop, talk to Blacksmith Bronp and get the quest to retrieve his gems for him.

Head back to the mine and to the room with the werewolf s and orcs, on the left side of the room is a ramp that leads into another room where there are a lot of sub brigade leaders. These will attack you and are social so be careful when you attack them. The fast way is to pull the one that stands on the mound just inside the room. You can do this two ways, walk up to him until he attacks you and then run back a little and beat him to death. Or you can shoot him with the bow and run back down the tunnel shooting and running into the werewolf/orc room until you kill him.

When you kill the sub brigade leaders you will receive a message saying you have received as Chrysolberry or an Aquamarine or both. Do these quests until you have collected ten of each; you should hear a bell sound when you have. Run back to town and talk to the black smith, his building is to the right of the weapon shop when you enter town. Talk to him and he will give you a gem box. Take the gem box back to collector group. Group tells you the gem box contains coal. Return to the black smith and he will give you a letter. Take the letter and head back to the warehouse to the south. Talk to warehouse keeper Murphrin and he will give you a treat to give to warehouse keeper Airy who will give you a bat schismatic. Take a breath, almost done with this. Head back to the mine and kill blade bats until you get a star diamond, this will be very easy with a bow, a little tougher for you will clubs or swords still. Now the drop rate on the gem is random, you may get it first kill, or second, or tenth, all luck.

Once you have collected the gem head back to collector group in town and give him the gem, he will in return give you a great weapon. Now, if you have cedar staffs sell the hammer to the store for 12k or try to sell it to a player through a private store for 13-16k. If you didn t get a staff meet you new weapon of doom! Now that you have finished the hammer quest head to the weapon shop and grab some new gear if you have the money, wooden armor, a full set adds to max life. Make sure to save 3k because that will be your ticket out of here. Once you are ready to leave this cold dull place head out of the weapon shop and go south up the hill, there you will see a women in red named Gatekeeper Wirphy, talk to her and teleport to the town of Gludin.

Now that you are in Gludin dust off your jogging shoes and pick up a world map from a player or a shop. The shop will be off to the left side of town near the east gate exit. If you have enough Adena and want to move along faster you can talk to Gate keeper Belledonna and have her warp you to Gludio castle town. If you don t have the money head out the South gate and follow the road, checking you map to make sure you are heading towards the town of Gludio. Make sure to stay on the road and watch out for monsters along the side as they will attack you.

Once you reach Gludio go through and out the east exit. Checking your map will reveal a large river to the East that runs north to south. This is a highway for many people because in the water you are safe from creatures as most of them will be a good distance from the water’s edge. Run into the water and head north until you come to a bridge that crosses the river. Get out of the water and watch out for Lireins and Lirien Ribes, they are transparent floating women along the shore.

Check your map and follow the road the leads NE to the next bridge. The road that continues north off this bridge will lead you to the Elves village, follow it. You will come to a crossroads at one point as you near the village. Take note that this is what people mean when they say to meet at the crossroads and that this is also a major travel point. To the East you have the Elf village, to the South the Elf Fortress (check your map), and to the west you have the spider fields.

If you would like to make some cash there is a quest in town for you. Head into town and take a left immediately after you get off the bridge and head into the magic shop. Talk to the trader on the right and get the quest to collect spore sacks. Go out of town through the west gate and open your map. On the map to the south you should see Iris Lake, go to the left of there and kill Spore Fungus until you get ten spore sacs. Then return to town and give them to the trader for a reward of 2k adena.

You can repeat this quest as much as you want and buy some new armor for yourself. Though I recommend sticking with the wooden armor for the life bonus and defense bonus, plus the stuff you can buy in this town that is above it only offers a tiny bit more defense and now life bonus. After you have finished farming money head to the crossroads and form a team of one healer and two tanks by shouting out in the all channel that you are looking for a healer and another tank around your level.

Once you have formed a team head back to the West to the spider fields. Now, the first thing you need to know is that Hook spiders will not attack you, Crimson Spiders will, as well the random Liriens but all are social so be careful how you pull. Its best if you use your bow to pull Liriens out of groups of spiders and vice versa. Now kill like mad until you reach fifteen and make sure to watch for a Bow of Forest off of the Hook spiders, it s a 150k adena weapon and very useful for you.

Now that you have reached level fifteen, head west down the road and hop back into the river, and follow it down to Gludio. In Gludio on the West side you will find a black smith who will teach you the skills you need. Make sure to grab the Spoil and Sweep skills if you don t have them at this point, it is highly recommended. Also fill up on Weapon mastery and armor mastery. Remember this place well, as it is where you will come on main land to get new skills and later on better weapons.

Head back to the crossroad and pick up another team around your level unless you happen to have one. Head to the west over the bridge to what is called the Neutral Area, the area between the Dark Elves and the Elves Here you will find Scavenger Wererats and Arachevils and Lyconthropes. The Wererats won t attack you and you can spoil them before you begin your assault on them. The Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will attack you and the Arachevil has poison which can be a real pain, make sure your healer has cure poison 1. Watch out for the Lycanthropes, best just to stay away from them as they hit pretty hard.

All targets are social and after killing so many wererats you may get a wererat chief to spawn with a couple of buddies. I didn t have enough guts to go see if they attack but lets treat them as if the do. If this place gets too boring for you, you can always head to the elf fortress for levels, though as one Elf I know said, that place is the spawn of all evil.

Frozen Waterfall Pathing Exploit (Lineage 2 orc)

Just ran across this while trying to shake an angry mob of kasha bears and werewolf chieftains. This works best when there aren’t too many other people around, but actually doesn’t matter because it looks so innocent. You will need some sort of ranged weapon – I use a forest bow.

Run around discreetly and gather as many mobs into a train as you can/want. Make sure you’re full health just in case you get stuck somewhere and they catch up to you. Head to the western entrance, run up the hill and cut a sharp left. Be careful you don’t run up the part of the hill that’s too steep, but as soon as you get past that point hug the edge of the cliff as close as you can.

Being careful not to fall off yourself, keep to the edge as much as possible. You will run past the first platform of rock and snow, keep going until you get past it but don’t run too far past. Have a look and you’ll see that all the mobs have fallen off the edge and landed on the platform, and as long as your not too far away they’ll keep trying to run towards you but the side of the cliff is in the way. Start shooting them like a fish in a barrel. Some will get bored and start to leave, just make sure to target them to keep them close.

The best part is that you’re so high up nobody down below can see anything that’s going on, it simply looks like you’re shooting at something they can’t see. I’ve tested this multiple times and it works every time. Enjoy!

100 Fangs Exploit (Lineage 2 videos)

the one in elf village where u must collect 100 claws of wolf? basically u get 100 claws, go to the guy and start dropping 1 adena each time. this will create lots of lag… then click the quest guy with your 100 claws and he will give u a gem, click on him again very quickly and take the quest AGAIN… now click him again and he is going to say I’ve done the quest. if u keep on doing this fast u can get a lot of gold =) but beware, after a few times it stops working cause the lag goes away, but u can always redo the quest.

Class Tattoos Guide (Lineage 2 chronicle 4)

Tattoos

Tattoos are a way to customize your characters stats, to specialize them into performing a general role, such as in PvP, soloing, PvE parties, or it could be a specific trait that you are trying to maximize. The following is a list of what each stat does, as of C5. Following that is a listing of stats for different classes; note that each class has a total of 170 points. These base stats never change unless you equip an armor set or apply a tattoo to your character.

· STR (strength): physical attack, resistance to skills like curse: weakness

· DEX (dexterity): accuracy, critical rate, attack speed, movement speed, evasion, speed and recharge of physical skills, resistance to skills like dryad root

· CON (constitution): maximum HP, carrying capacity, HP regeneration rate, skills like poison

· INT (intelligence): magical attack

· WIT (wit): casting speed, magical critical rate, speed and recharge of magical skills, % xp restored with resurrection

· MEN (mentality): maximum MP, MP regeneration rate, magical defense, resistance to skills like sleep

How they Work

Usually what you try to do when choosing a tattoo is to increase a stat which is already high, or to increase the effect of damage-dealing skills. Only physical skills (STR/DEX/CON) can be exchanged with physical skills, and only magical skills (INT/WIT/MEN) can be exchanged for magical skills.

Do not apply tattoos until after your second class change (level 40). Before that, they are simply not worth the money, and when you complete your second class change, any tattoos you have will be erased. Before level 40 you can only apply regular dyes, and after level 40 you can only apply “greater dyes”. So do not buy or trade for any dye that does not start with the word “greater”. You need 10 dyes to make one tattoo; all you need to do is talk to a symbol maker in any non-newbie town (he can be found in the general/magic store).

Also never use tattoos that don’t give you an even trade. +1/-1 is better than +1/-2, as the latter will cause your total stats to be less than 170, which is not good. Not all classes can apply every type of tattoo.

All classes can use tattoos to change STR, DEX, and CON. Fighter classes cannot change their MEN with tattoos. Healers/buffers cannot change their INT with tattoos. Note that any class can change any stat through armor set bonuses. Each character can only have three tattoos applied at one time; they go in the boxes on the right of your character info screen when applied. Once you have applied a tattoo, it is permanent unless you decide to remove it at a symbol maker NPC.

When you remove a tattoo, you only get 5 of the 10 dyes you needed to make it, so it’s really not a good idea to switch tattoos back and forth. Note that when you subclass, your sub does not have the same tattoos as your main; your sub will start out with no tattoos applied. The most you can change any stat with tattoos positively is +5, there is no limit on how much you can change a stat negatively. This means that if you apply two tattoos of +4STR/-4DEX, the end result will be +5STR and –8DEX.

Finding Dyes

Dyes for different tattoos can be found in many places in lineage2. You may spoil them from mobs, get them from drops, raids, common craft, or trade ancient adena for them at the merchant of mammon.

Note that you CANNOT buy greater dyes from a merchant in town, as they only sell regular dyes. if buying from the merchant of mammon (he visits the necropolis during the seal validation period) the +4/-4 dyes cost 174000aa, the +3/-3 dyes are 108000aa, the +2/-2 dyes are 72000aa and the +1/-1 dyes are 60000aa.

This means that if you want to go +5/-5, the cheapest way to do it is to get a +3/-3 and a +2/-2 tattoo, as this will save you 54000aa over a +4/-4 and a +1/-1. Because not much is known yet about the spoils for C5, the following is an incomplete list of known spoils, I will update it at some point when more is known about C5. Class Specific Information

Warlord
As a melee that specializes in AOE PvE, you typically want to be running around with a single buffer at low levels, and at higher levels, a couple more AOE-capable classes (destroyer, dwarf, or nuker) and at least two buffers/healers, preferably not of the same type. There isn’t really a solo build for this type of class, and it doesn’t do great in PvP.

· +DEX : helps you run around faster and gather a train without dying.

· +STR : helps you do more damage, this is essential in healing yourself with VR.

· +CON : might have been good in C4, but in C5 changed the “revival” skill so that it can only be used with 5% hp. thus, its not really a skill you should be depending on.

Gladiator
Like the warlord, you are a great PvE class, although unlike the warlord you fare a bit better in the arena. If you go +STR go all the way with +5, same with dex if you go that way. tallum heavy and kesh*kesh go great with +DEX, magestic heavy and kesh*dama goes great with +STR. most people seem to max out one and also do a bit of the other.

· +STR : increases damage, never a bad thing.

· +DEX : helps you catch enemies in PvP, and helps attack speed.

Paladin
As a tank with majesty threes really not any point in trying to evade hits with a +DEX setup. you want to get your p. def and m.def as high as possible through over-enchanting gear, so that you need less heals when tanking for a party. nightmare heavy or majestic heavy should work fine.

· +STR : increasing damage is nice for PvP and PvE.

· +CON : tons of extra hp is nice for PvP and raids, but get a health SA as well.

· +INT : I’m not sure if increasing INT affects the “sacrifice” skill in C5.

Dark Avenger
As a tank with majesty threes really not any point in trying to evade hits with a +DEX setup. you want to get your p. def and m.def as high as possible through over-enchanting gear, so that you need less heals when tanking for a party. most DAs wear nightmare heavy because the shield bonus stacks with the “reflect damage” skill.

· +STR : +STR : increasing damage is great for PvP and PvE.

· +CON : tons of extra hp is nice for PvP and raids, but get a health SA as well.

· +INT : great for soloing, with drain life this setup lets you go forever.

Treasure Hunter
Dark crystal light looks like it would be a good armor set, or nightmare light if going against magic wielding mobs/players. get a dagger with focus or critical damage.

· +STR : more damage.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

Hawkeye
As the slowest of the archer classes, +DEX really aren’t your cup of tea, but it doesn’t hurt.

· +STR : more damage is good damage.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

· +CON : not bad for soloing, but over time may be just a waste of ss and arrows.

Sorcerer/ess
As a nuker, you want to level with +INT, you may add +WIT later for PvP. dark crystal robes for PvP, nightmare robes for PvE. get a sword of miracles in A grade with acumen, and/or a sword of valhalla in B grade with acumen. or you can max out your damage with a magic power SA.

· +INT : more damage per spell.

· +MEN: more mp.

· +WIT : faster damage.

Necromancer
Get a sword of miracles in A grade with acumen, and/or a sword of valhalla in B grade with acumen. or you can max out your damage with a magic power SA.

· +CON : with the “body to mind” skill, more HP = more MP.

· +INT : helps in landing debuffs and by increasing damage from the “death spike” skill.

· +WIT : faster damage.

Warlock
By increasing your attack speed, you increase your cubic fire rate. using a dagger helps to do this. you may want to get a set of blue wolf light or doom light or robes to +6.

· +DEX : increased fire rate for cubics.

· +WIT : faster heals.

· +MEN : more MP.

Bishop
Note that you cannot change your INT stat. you may want to try to get an avadon robe set to +6. any weapon with acumen will do.

· +STR : good for solo or additional damage in PvE.

· +CON : increased survivability in PvE.

· +MEN : before you get the “balance life” skill this is essential as you will run out of mp otherwise.

· +WIT : this is also essential, to increase % restored with “resurrection” and fast heals.

Prophet
Note that you cannot change your INT stat. you may want to try to get an avadon robe set to +6, or blue wolf heavy set to +6. any weapon with acumen will do.

· +STR : good for solo or additional damage in PvE.

· +CON : increased survivability in PvE, especially if you wear heavy armor.

· +WIT : faster buffs. you still cannot buff a party faster than a warcryer.

BladeDancer
If you go +STR goes all the way with +5, same with dex if you go that way. tallum heavy and kesh*kesh go great with +DEX, magestic heavy and kesh*dama goes great with +STR.

· +STR : increases damage, never a bad thing.

· +DEX : helps you catch enemies in PvP, and helps attack speed.

· +CON : higher survivability, but will not make you a solid tank in PvE.

ShilienKnight
By increasing your attack speed, you increase your cubic fire rate. tallum heavy and a tallum blade with the haste SA is one way to do this. though a dark crystal shield will look better, a nightmare shield will work better.

· +DEX : increased fire rate for cubics.

· +INT : increased life from drains and increased land rate of lightning strike.

AbyssWalker
You are the strongest dagger, with a good crit rate. dark crystal light looks like it would be a good armor set, or nightmare light if going against magic wielding mobs/players. get a dagger with focus or critical damage.

· +STR : more damage.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

PhantomRanger
Tallum light for soloing, dark crystal light for everything else.

· +STR : more damage is good damage.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

SpellHowler
As a nuker, you want to level with +INT, you may add +WIT later for PvP. dark crystal robes for PvP, nightmare robes for PvE. get a sword of miracles in A grade with acumen, and/or a sword of Valhalla in B grade with acumen. or you can max out your damage with a magic power SA.

· +CON : with the “body to mind” skill, more HP = more MP.

· +INT : more damage per spell.

· +MEN: more mp.

· +WIT : faster damage.

PhantomSummoner
By increasing your attack speed, you increase your cubic fire rate. using a dagger helps to do this. you may want to get a set of blue wolf light or doom light or robes to +6.

· +DEX : increased fire rate for cubics.

· +WIT : faster heals.

· +MEN : more MP.

ShilienElder
Note that you cannot change your INT stat. you may want to try to get an avadon robe set to +6. any weapon with acumen will do.

· +CON : increased survivability in PvE.

· +MEN : this is essential as you will run out of mp otherwise.

· +WIT : this is also essential, to increase % restored with “resurrection” and fast heals.

SwordSinger
If you go +DEX goes all the way with +5, same with STR if you go that way. you have a wide variety of weapons to choose from, because unlike the blade dancer you can sing with any weapon.
Every SwS should have a bow, but there are two basic melee setups, sword and shield or a two-handed sword. tallum heavy and a dark legions edge with critical damage SA or blue wolf and Damascus with focus or crit damage SA (go with crit damage if you frequently run around with full buffs) with a shield, or greatsword with focus or critical damage SA and majestic or heavy.

Nightmare light with a dragonslayer with critical drain might work well for a solo setup.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

· +STR : increases damage, never a bad thing.

· +CON : higher survivability, but will not make you a solid tank in PvE.

TempleKnight
By increasing your attack speed, you increase your cubic fire rate. tallum heavy and a tallum blade with the haste SA is one way to do this. though a dark crystal shield will look better, a nightmare shield will work better.

· +DEX : allows you to run off the raid boss when things go bad, get trains for AOE, and increased fire rate for cubics.

PlainsWalker
You are the fastest dagger, with the highest crit rate. dark crystal light looks like it would be a good armor set, or nightmare light if going against magic wielding mobs/players. you may want to try to get a doom light set to +6. get a dagger with focus or critical damage.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

· +STR : more damage.

SilverRanger
You are the fastest archer, with the highest crit rate. +STR really isn’t your cup of tea, but it doesn’t hurt. you may want to try to get a doom light set to +6.

· +DEX : increase in crit rate for more damage.

· +STR : more damage is good damage.

SpellSigner
As a nuker, you want to level with +INT, you may add +WIT later for PvP. dark crystal robes for PvP, nightmare robes for PvE. get a sword of miracles in A grade with acumen, and/or a sword of Valhalla in B grade with acumen.

· +WIT : faster damage and more magic crits.

· +DEX : increased fire rate for cubics.

· +WIT : faster heals.

· +MEN : more MP.

ElvenElder
Note that you cannot change your INT stat. you may want to try to get an avadon robe set to +6. any weapon with acumen will do.

· +CON : increased survivability in PvE.

· +MEN : this is essential as you will run out of mp otherwise.

· +WIT : this is also essential, to increase % restored with “resurrection” and fast heals.

Destroyer
The destroyer is a master of weapons, if you don’t have 3+ “situational” weapons in your warehouse or on your person, you simply aren’t playing the class to its fullest. majestic heavy is good with +STR, doom heavy +6 works well with +CON. blue wolf heavy +6 would help you to catch up with slower targets in PvP.

Because you have no ranged attacks, its good to carry a bow, and though I don’t know of any destroyers that do AOE parties (and I’ve asked most of the high levels on my server), people that have never played the class say they are awesome at it, in which case you may also want a polearm.

You should have a blunt for stunning, any blunt will do. an over-enchanted greatsword with the focus SA works better for PvE but a dragonslayer with the critical bleed SA works better in PvP.

· +STR : more damage.

· +CON : more HP for PvP, but get a health SA as well.

· +DEX : helps you catch enemies in PvP.

Tyrant
Tallum heavy and blood tornados with focus worked very well in C3. I have seen a lot more tyrants recently in light armors instead of heavy, especially nightmare light with dragon grinders, most likely with the health SA. it also doesn’t hurt to have another set of fist weapons for PvP with some sort of risk SA on them, for when your hp drops below 30%.

· +STR : more damage.

· +DEX : faster attack speed.

· +CON : more HP for PvP, but get a health SA as well.

Warcryer
This is one of the two most versatile classes for adding tattoos, you really cant go wrong no matter what you do.

Majestic robes work great with +INT and a magic power SA, or with +WIT and an acumen SA. you can wear heavy armors (doom is common) to solo, but robes or light armors are best for parties. you should carry a blunt for stuns, any blunt will do. if you go with acumen carry a shield in case of arrows, if you go with magic power use the highest m. att weapon you can get.

· +STR : good for solo or additional damage in PvE.

· +CON : higher survivability.

· +INT : more damage per drain.

· +WIT : faster damage and faster buffs.

· +MEN : extremely high m def and extremely fast regen rate.

Overlord
This is one of the two most versatile classes for adding tattoos, you really cant go wrong no matter what you do.

Majestic robes work great with +INT and a magic power SA, or with +WIT and an acumen SA. you can wear heavy armors (doom is common) to solo, but robes or light armors are best for parties. you should carry a blunt for stuns, any blunt will do. if you go with acumen carry a shield in case of arrows, if you go with magic power use the highest m. att weapon you can get.

· +STR : good for solo or additional damage in PvE.

· +CON : higher survivability and good for sieges, but get a health SA as well.

· +INT : more damage per drain.

· +WIT : faster damage and faster buffs.

· +MEN : extremely high m def and extremely fast regen rate.

Warsmith
2handed blunts are your friend, as is majestic heavy and blue wolf heavy. carry a bow.

· +STR : good for solo or additional damage in PvE.

· +CON : higher survivability and good for sieges, but get a health SA as well.

· +DEX : helps you catch enemies in PvP.

BountyHunter
2handed blunts are your friend, as is majestic heavy and blue wolf heavy. carry a bow.

· +STR : good for solo or additional damage in PvE.

· +CON : higher survivability.

· +DEX : helps you catch enemies in PvP.

Good Leveling Tip For Level 30-40 DD And DoT’er (L2 dark elf)

First off, goto the sea of spores. Once there, go find two types of mobs, Spore Zombies, and Rotting Golems. Have your DoT’er DoT them, then get your DD (If you’re a scout-like class don’t use a bow since golems have reduced damage against them) to hit it while the creep tries following the DoT’er at a very slow pace. The DoT’er could probably do this by his/her-self, but you take lots of damage if you are hit by these things (I was taking about 100-150 damage with 391 pdef). Also, you wont waste as much mana if the DD is beating them senseless while you sit somewhere. Finally, I made about 1200 xp and 95 SP per kill. In about an hour I made close to 20% xp (Which is good for level 33), got 40-50k adena, and another 30k in items (Steel and Leather being the main ones dropped). To end this, just remember to stay away from the tarantulas that are out there. They caused problems for me and my friend while we were out there.

Pathing Exploits (Lineage 2 accounts)

#1

On the 3rd floor of the coal mines, near the bat bridge, their is a room
with some reavers, blade bats, and wolf creatures. There is a reaver in the
middle of two boards laying on the floor near the far wall from where you
‘just’ first enter the room. Stand, look at the side of the reaver from the
middle of the room, 20 or so feet away, then start shooting it. It’ll do a
small manatap spell, then stand there for the rest of the fight not reacting
at all.

#2

Near the Dark elfs and the elfs general area, by the initiate spot, theres a
waterfal on the map between the DE and E’s spots. Its a mountain looking
to the swamp area on the map. If you go past the waterfall a bit
geared towards the left hand side, theres a pond of water, and a field of spiders
that spawn there. You can get the spiders to chase you, and also cave
basilisks that spawn there, run along the edge of the pond and they’ll
glitch and fall in. It’ll act as a wall, and you can sit there and
snipe them from afar.

#3

Enter EF and travel thru the first room, then at the next room go left at the
second hallway (there is 2 on the left and 2 on the right) all rooms are full
of orc fighters and leaders, in the center of the room of a panel on the floor
with a crack in it, stand in the exact center of that crack and none of the
orcs that spawn in that room will attack you. The is a geat room for AFK
macroing because of how close the enemies spawn.

The /loc is:
X: 25312.2
Y: 78177.9
Z: -4096.2

#4

At the execution grounds, granite golems are a fairly good target to pull
and try to run behind a fence or something. This is especially good for
casters, not really recommended for melee fighters since it bugs sometimes
and the golems somehow go through the fence, but superb for casters
and archers.

#5

There is a Lirien trapping exploit, i havent been able to test it yet unfortunatly.
I know people have been banned for trapping liriens but this is a different
spot and as far as im aware is not moniterd by GM’s.
This is the Loc for the place where you trap them:

X: 2878.0
Y: 55515.9
Z: -3264.9

(This works best if you have an AoE spell)

#6

My favourite exploit for trapping enemies, this is so simple though i expect
it will be fixed soon.

Go to the sea of spores. If you are an archer or mage you can just attack the
creatures through the myst wall, and they cannot attack you. You can kill the
wyrms, giant funguses, etc… Great xp. Sea of spores is just north of the mother
tree. There is a spot just north of the mother tree where you can run over
the mountain and practically land right at the spot at the sea of spores.
And yes, any ranged attack will work. But be warned these creatures are
very high leveled, Wyrm is lv35 and the Funges’ and Eyes are Lv40.

Remember that as of the current date these places are not known to be monitered
by GM’s, but its always best to check around and keep an eye open for anyone.
Using these areas MAY get your account banned.

Become a Palus Knight (Lineage 2 monsters)

Talk to Master Virgil in the Dark Elf Guild of Gluido

Go kill lycanthropes until you get 13 skulls

Talk to Virgil again

Now go to Kalinta, in the Dark Elf Guild on Gludin

Go hunt Arachnevil Spiders, and get 5 skeins(Might say Trimden Silks, going off of beta, and there were some bugs). Next, kill poison spiders for 1 carapace.

Go back to Kalinta

Go talk to Virgil, and then Grandmaster Tobias, in the Gluido guild.

You can now become a Palus Knight

Enjoy!

Make Reds With Your Spellhowler (Lineage 2 cd key)

This is not an exploit, it is a strategy that has resulted in my clan aqcuiring about 12 million adena worth of equipment.

First, set up an organized PvP against arrogant kids that like to flout their PvP skills outside the arena (Only once has someone declined).

Have the spellhowler go second. Use the spellhowler’s body to mind skill to keep your HP between 15 and 215, but closer to 0, the better. Since oyu are not getting hit, and since the animation is the same as Might, they think you have full HP.

When it is the spellhowler’s turn, make sure the other guy get the first hit. The first hit is usually fatal, bow users do about 400 damage without critialling, so they make great victims.

Since they killed you without hitting them, they turn red. Have your buds, sleep/stun them and finish them off and spam the pickup key.

1-75 Great Hunting Spots (Lineage 2 pvp)

And i Quote

‘lvl 1-20 do by hand or find own hunting spots. You level too quickly to have a bot run very long. I do enjoy talking island though. I often bot the orc spawns from 1-15 then the solo skeleton spawns for 15-20.

lvl 20-28 hunt bottom floor of mithril mine around the static spawns of golems and nightmares.* Also one may hunt Dre Vanuls in the last room of elven ruins. A favorite of mine is the plateau near dion.

lvl 28-40 the execution grounds pit under the bridge past the hangman trees.* Silenos and lizard man warriors around giran harbor as well.

lvl 40-46 leto man soldiers/shaman spawns of 2-4 across river from hardin’s academy.

lvl 46-52 Lakins and weird drakes that are on the east side of the southern bridge of Narsell Lake. Best spot ever.

lvl 52-55 Mirros at the north west tip of the river leading to Giant’s Cave. Or Blazing swamp where map lines 40-57 cross.*

lvl 55-61 Marshstalkers or Undead on plateau overlooking marsh drakes.

lvl 56-62 Oel Mahum north of ivory tower.

lvl 59-65 Kranrots under Giant’s Cave.

lvl 63-67 Bot along wall in forgotten gaterway. Top B grade required.* Avoid going AFK because mobs can swarm on you easily and players can be inquisitve.

lvl 65-74 Doom knights if you dare. Same rules as above.

lvl 67-72 Trives, Falibanti, Doom knights along a wall or up on the platform. Top B required.* I wish I knew a different spot.

lvl 72-75 Somewhere deep in lair around kariks.* If you think you can that is.’
